Springing into Summer

I love this time of year, it’s so nice to be able to take the dogs out for a long walk after work and then for it still to be light when we get back home for supper. It’s been lovely walking through the bluebell woods, seeing trees full of blossom  and fields full of lambs. We’ve made the most of the weekends since the clocks went forward as well, with a weekend break to the Cotswolds, doing new things such as going to a couple of point to points, and catching up with friends. We found a great vintage car museum that was rather eccentric and full of lots of other lovely vintage memorabilia. We also went terrier racing which was so funny. All the terriers enjoyed themselves but did their own thing as terriers always do! It’s been Rob’s birthday as well so I treated him to a trip on the Flying Scotsman up to York. We dined on style on the train with a fantastic champagne full English breakfast. Delicious! 🍳
